Ferrari 430 Scuderia

The new Ferrari 430 Scuderia made its official debut in North America at the Los Angeles Automobile Show and immediately caught the eye of a top celebrity: California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Scuderia is a two-seater luxury sports sedan which was developed using Formula 1 technology. It was presented at the Ferrari stand where it shared the stage with the F430 and F430 Spider.

North America is Ferrari's most important market and accounts for 30% of the company's worldwide sales. California, where some 600 cars are expected to be sold in 2007, is responsible for 27% of Ferrari's North American market followed the northeast with 16%, Florida with 11%, Texas with 7% and Chicago with 6%. In other developments, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano on Friday was named Supercar of the Year in Dubai during the Car Middle East Awards 2007.

The car was elected for its unique style, the performance of its V12 engine, comfort and adaptability. The Middle East is a growing market for Ferrari with 300 cars sold this year, a 35% increase over 2006.
