Opera - November 27th

After 30 months of restoration the famous opera house "La Scala" in Milan will open again December 7th, day of Saint Ambrogio, the patron saint of the town.

The first performed opera will be "Europa riconosciuta" (Acknowledged Europe), directed by Luca Ronconi and written 226 years ago by Antonio Salieri for the first opening of this same theatre.

Maestro Riccardo Muti is the orchestra conductor.
