The main structure for the Christmas Nativity has just been raised in Piazza San Pietro, Rome, facing the most important cathedral of Christianity.

As usual the annual Nativity will be placed in the center of the square, near the Egyptian obelisk, and it will be joined by a 110 years old Christmas Tree, 35 meters high and donated to Pope John Paul II by the region of Trentino.
